Senior Content Manager (Full Remote)
Context
We run SEO-driven websites in highly competitive and multilingual markets, with a long-term focus on organic growth and performance. Our environment is entrepreneurial, data-driven, and execution-focused, and AI is now at the core of how we produce.
We build scalable content assets designed to generate sustainable traffic and measurable business results, and we are looking for a Senior Content Manager to play a key role in this growth phase.
The Role
You will take ownership of SEO-driven content production and performance, hands-on from day one. Initially the role focuses on one existing site, with the ambition to scale content strategies and operations across multiple sites over time.
You will use AI heavily across your editorial workflow to produce more and faster, but you stay the expert who decides what is good and what actually ships. You will work closely with the founder at first to define priorities and strategy, with the expectation of becoming quickly autonomous in execution and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities (Short Term)
- Write high-quality SEO content (guides, pillar pages, reviews, transactional pages) capable of ranking on highly competitive keywords.
- Structure content efficiently: search intent, editorial angles, silos, internal linking.
- Publish and optimize content directly in WordPress.
- Use AI across the workflow (prompting, rewriting, enhancement, translation) to produce more and faster, with a critical, expert eye on every output.
- Ensure high editorial standards, SEO best practices, and consistency.
- Work closely with the founder at first, then gain autonomy quickly.
Possible Evolution (Depending on Performance and Growth)
- Define and manage the company's SEO content roadmap.
- Contribute to keyword strategy and growth opportunities.
- Structure and manage content resources over time (experienced writers, freelancers, proofreaders, junior profiles).
- Build and continuously improve scalable content production processes (AI and human workflows).
- Become the company-wide Content & SEO reference, with direct responsibility for content performance across current and future sites.
Profile Required
This role is for an experienced content manager and editor first. Advanced AI skills are required on top of that, not instead of it. We are not looking for someone who only generates content in bulk with AI.
Must-Have
- At least 3 years in a real content role (Head of Content, SEO Content Manager, Content Lead, or similar) with direct responsibility for editorial output.
- Demonstrated ability to rank content in competitive markets.
- Excellent writing skills in at least one native language: French, Spanish, Italian, or German.
- Strong mastery of content-focused SEO fundamentals: search intent, structure, E-E-A-T, on-page optimization.
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress.
- Hands-on experience with semantic optimization tools (Surfer, YourTextGuru, or equivalent).
- Strong HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Advanced, thoughtful use of AI to scale your output, with the judgment to tell good from bad.
- English required for communication within an international team.
