Senior SEO (Full Remote)

Context

We run SEO-driven websites in highly competitive and multilingual markets, with a long-term focus on organic growth and performance. Our environment is entrepreneurial, data-driven, and execution-focused, and AI is now at the core of how we produce.

We are looking for a Senior SEO who can own SEO performance from A to Z, hands-on from day one, and who uses AI to move faster without ever lowering the bar on quality.

The Role

You will be responsible for the overall SEO performance of the sites, with direct, hands-on involvement from day one. The role is focused on execution, impact, and measurable results, before any delegation or management logic.

You will use AI heavily across your workflow, but you stay the expert who decides what is good and what actually ships.

Key Responsibilities (Short Term)

  • Own and manage SEO for a site from A to Z.
  • Create and optimize SEO content capable of ranking on competitive keywords.
  • Work on site structure: search intent, silos, internal linking.
  • Publish and optimize content directly in WordPress.
  • Run keyword research and SEO prioritization.
  • Optimize WordPress technical performance (structure, speed, Core Web Vitals).
  • Execute or oversee link building initiatives.
  • Use AI across the workflow (ideation, writing, optimization, translation) to produce more and faster, with a critical, expert eye on every output.
  • Work closely with the founder at first, then gain autonomy quickly.

Possible Evolution (Depending on Performance and Growth)

  • Define a broader SEO roadmap across multiple sites.
  • Structure and manage other SEO or content profiles over time (freelancers, writers, proofreaders).
  • Take broader responsibility for the company's overall SEO strategy.

Profile Required

This role is for an experienced SEO first. Advanced AI skills are required on top of that, not instead of it. We are not looking for someone who only generates content in bulk with AI.

Must-Have

  • At least 3 years in a real SEO role with direct responsibility for performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to rank content in competitive markets.
  • Solid mastery of on-page SEO, content SEO, and search intent.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress, including technical SEO (structure, speed, performance).
  • Understanding of link building (hands-on or management).
  • Experience with SEO and semantic optimization tools (Surfer, YourTextGuru, or similar).
  • Strong HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Advanced, thoughtful use of AI to scale your output, with the judgment to tell good from bad.
  • English required for communication within an international team.
  • Native language preferably: French, Spanish, Italian, or German.

  • A sharp eye for detail: you notice the small things others miss, and you don't let typos, sloppy formatting, or a broken layout slip through.
  • You listen to feedback and put it into practice. We shouldn't need to make the same point twice.
  • High autonomy and ownership: you structure your own work and follow through without constant supervision.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization.
  • Pragmatic approach focused on measurable SEO performance.
  • Team-oriented mindset in a remote, international environment.
